Leadership, The Missing Link In Africa’s Transformation Agenda
Ghana will host a high-level discussion on the role of leadership in Sustainable Development in Africa. In attendance as special guest includes Nana Kwabena Nketsia IV, Paramount Chief of Essikado Traditional Area and Bishop Titus Awotwi Pratt, Bishop of the Methodist Church of Ghana.
The event, The Leadership Factor ™ , which happens on the 30th of June,2016 will bring together speakers from across Africa to discuss leadership as a catalyst for growth and development.
The organisers, Transition Africa – a Leadership-focused social enterprise, promise a thought-provoking discussion focused on leadership, governance and sustainable development in Africa.
The event, to be held at the Asante Hall of Alisa Hotel in Accra, is expected to host Ex-President John Agyekum Kuffour as special guest of honour.

Dr. Esi Ansah – CEO Axis Human Capital Ltd & Assistant Professor at Ashesi University, Ghana
Audu Maikori – President of Chocolate City Group, Nigeria
Raphael Obonyo – World Bank African Representative to the Youth Coordinating Board, Kenya
Jesse Agyepong – Marketing Director, Millicom Ghana
The speakers have made tremendous strides through exemplary leadership in various fields and share a vision of consistent excellence and transforming societies.
The Leadership Factor will provide an opportunity for the audience to engage with the speakers and benefit from insights, knowledge and experience.
Everyone talks about change but how do we achieve the change for sustainable development through focused leadership? The Leadership Factor aims to make the conversation tangible and practical for a candid discussion on the way forward.
The discussion will focus on Innovative Leadership, Leadership in Entrepreneurship, Leading with Integrity, Excellence-The Hallmark of Leadership and Citizen Leadership.
The event targets to engage hundreds of young Ghanaians and an estimated online audience, via live streaming, of thousands.
