Asem Makes A Comeback With New Song ‘Yo-Yo’

He gave us beautiful songs and made headway in the music charts back in 2007/8.

Rapper Asem, who has been absent from the music scene for some years now, has laughed off concerns from the general public that he might be sick.

Recent photographs of the rapper, born Nana Wiafe Asante Mensah, generated huge discussions on social media with many alleging that the rapper’s drastic weight loss might be as a result of an ailment.

Asem, known to be one of Ghana’s formidable artistes, has been absent from the music scene. His absence after the release of ‘Wasted’ in 2013 and ‘Give Me Blow” in 2007 amongst other top notched records has been of great concern to many ‘Asem fans’.




Good news coming through indicates Asem is ready to return to active music. His records which couldn’t make it to the most popular songs in 2015 didn’t drop his music energy as he readies a new record titled “Yo-Yo”.




Fans can anticipate the yet-to-be-release song as the official release date hasn’t been hinted yet but we are certain it will be out before the end of May, 2016. Watch this space for the audio file when it drops.
