‘Aposor’ hitmaker brags about Gospel Song of the Year Award

Gospel musician Nicholas Omane Acheampong has spoken after winning the Gospel Song of the Year award at the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs).

For what he kept saying before the awards night, he knew it was a done deal for him.

According to the ‘Aposor’ hitmaker in an interview with DJ Murphy Lee on Storm FMs Entertainment Show, he knew he had already won that category even before going into the main event. The least he could do was to border himself with whom the winner was.




“I knew I had already won the award so I didn’t want to worry myself. Because if someone tells you that Jesus Christ is the light and that look for him and see the light, I don’t think anybody should win over the light. At the end of the day if two people are searching for something in the dark, the one with the light will see it.”




Nicholas Omane Acheampong is known in the music industry as the man with many terms has been over the years coming out with controversial mind blowing gospel songs.

He’s hailed for hit songs Zaphnat Pania, Tabitha Kum, Mahashala, and the famous Aposor which won him the Gospel Song of the Year in the 2016 VGMA.
