Former Bayern Munich and Germany legend Oliver Kahn has criticised Real Madrid’s attitude, saving a curious barb for Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Blancos’ euphoria at having beaten Barcelona was quickly extinguished when they were outplayed by Wolfsburg to lose 2-0 in the Champions League quarter-final opener.

As the team seek to reverse their fortunes in the second leg, Kahn could not resist commenting on the now-infamous dressing room pic which came out of Camp Nou.




“Lately I have seen Cristiano Ronaldo’s abdominals more than my wife’s breasts,” the ex-goalkeeper fired to ZDF.

Kahn also accused Madrid of going to Germany with the wrong attitude.

“The Madrid players looked almost offended at having to go and play here in Wolfsburg,” he said, before laying in to the team’s tactical set-up.




“Neither Cristiano nor [Gareth] Bale feel comfortable doing the defensive work and that always gives a lot of space to the opponent’s full-backs.”
