Fresh off a trip to the Kardashians’ ancestral home of Armenia, the Kardashian-West clan is in Israel where they had North baptized in a ceremony at the historic Cathedral of St. James in Jerusalem on Monday afternoon, according to the Jerusalem Post. (Jesus, for the record, was baptized on the Jordan River adjacent to Jerusalem.)
Kim, Kanye, and North were photographed leaving the cathedral with North in a traditional, white christening gown. Mom wore neutral tones while dad matched in all white.
The Cathedral of St. James sits in the Armenian Quarter of Jerusalem’s Old City. It was built during the 12th century and named for James the Greater, one of Jesus’s apostles, and James the Just, Jesus’s brother.
“Kim Kardashian’s daughter will be baptized and become a Christian officially and a member of the Armenian church,” Archbishop Aris Shirvanian, who performed the baptism, told a crowd outside, according to the AP.
At just 21 months old, North has not only been Officially Saved, but also mastered all of the artsand revolutionized air travel.
But she wasn’t the only one performing miracles. This weekend her father Yeezus sort of walked on water during an impromptu concert in Yerevan, Armenia’s capital.
The Kardashian-West clan is reportedly headed to Jordan next. Will they raise the dead? Turn water into wine? Stay tuned.
