BET Award winner Stonebwoy known in real life as Livingstone Etse Satekla has finally cleared all skeptics vis-a-vis his performance at the just ended One Africa Music Fest held in Barclays Center in New York.
Stonebwoy who was arraigned of being technically sacked and ignored on stage by his Nigerian music colleague Wizkid by some Nigerians on twitter revealed on Pluzz Fm this morning debunking all the chit chats and rumours he was prosecuted of.
He explained that, he didn’t just join WizKid on stage himself but definetly was personally invited by him to perform R2bees’ “Slow Down” song with he Wizkid. While others claim he didn’t perform or performed to a tally of 50 audience at the event, Stonebwoy demystified these rumours saying , they are all not true.
He said: ” Praiz was the first artiste to perform and I had a song with him so I joined him and I was the next artiste to perform afterwards so I remained to continue with my performance. The place wasnt fully packed as at the time I was performing although but the audience were half full and not the” 50″ people are speculating. The show started at 7pm and I had to follow the order because there were other artistes who needed to also perform.
According to one of the Panelists called DJ Roy on the AM Pluzz show, from the video he watched, Stonebwoy wasn’t given the best of treatment by Wizkid after he invited him on stage because he left him idle and made him seem like his presence wasn’t necessary. He adviced that, management should communicate properly before situations like this happen.
Stonebwoy ended his interview by advicing all and sundry not to tap in the negative aspects of artistes but rather support them to the fullest. He also made mention of his tour in Australia some time soon and thanked everybody in support of his works.
