‘Come from far’ gets underway, with the award winning Dancehall artiste Stonebwoy spotted traveling a distance.
The music produced by Master Garzy was directed by Justin Campos.
The first thing you notice is the enveloping ambient charm of the recording, which sounds closer to well mixed Afro-dancehall record. The next thing you notice is that the dancer’s calmness and their attitudes are out of tune with one another—just one of several small touches that give Come From Far its distinct personality, especially in its whole scene.
The song literally talks about a journey from somewhere to the next point of greatness. “Wogbe Jeke”, a Ghanaian predominant language of the Ga people, an ethnic group of Ghana. It simply means “We have a Long Journey”, “We Come from Far” or better still known simply as “Come From Far” as Stonebwoy rightly translates.
