At the launch of the 2016 Golden Movie Awards Africa (AMAA), nominees for this year’s award ceremony were announced, and the surprise came on the night when the self acclaimed dancehall king Shatta Wale’s name popped up in the Golden Discovery category.

Shatta Wale’s name came up for his performance in the movie, ‘Shattered Lives’ which he played a key role in making the movie successful last year.

Shatta Wale will surprisingly compete the category with fellow artiste Wiyaala.
