The much anticipated music video from Shatta Movement camp has finally been unleashed!

Just as it was expected, Shatta Wale grows from a child to an adult to take revenge on a gold dealer who killed his father some years back.

Whilst the characters from the video are anonymous, a key player can be spotted. Patrick Osei-Agyemang, popularly known as Countryman Songo, host of ‘Fire for Fire’ on Adom FM was featured as the man who killed Shatta Wale’s father.

Maybe the video’s story line took that of friendship gone bad, but musically, taking into consideration Shatta Wale’s struggles through his music career, he’s just telling his other musician, ‘he’s the Kakai’ they’ve been waiting for.




From the days of Bananda from Ghana up until Shatta Wale, he’s still pulling crowds and he has one of the largest fan bases in Ghana.

One shocking thing I noticed about the video was the rumoured $44,040.00 JEEP WRANGLER UNLIMITED! Yeah You remember Shatta Wale posted it on his timeline with the caption “Test Driving”. Oh well.. let’s just say he’ll buy it later.

Take a look the XPRESS PHILMS directed video. It’s one of the first conceptual videos from Shatta Wale I have ever watched. I like this one except that I don’t understand why Ghanaians love skipping the gunshot blood whenever there’s a gunshot in a movie… It’s either the blood isn’t there, or the gun which I see to be a handgun has smoke after it’s been fired. For all you know, these guys just want to add smoke to everything and now music videos.

Ain’t there video editors in this country to show us some red oil.. at least. Okay have fun watching ‘Kakai’ video.
