I’m still waiting for the song titled ” King Sark” from the former BET award winner Sarkodie. These are just preliminaries to pave way for the mega surprise.

Now let’s ‘Take it Back’ to the song, “Just so you know I don’t rap no more, I just say what I say.” These are some of the word from the smashing hiphop record produced by Magnom and MikeMillzOnEm – Take It Back.

When it comes to these bar lifters, Sarkodie is undoubtably one rapper Ghana ever boast off. He took Gh-rap to a whole different level. Also he’s the only rapper who gives more credit to the legends in his songs; the likes of Reggie Rockstone, Obrafour and Pat Thomas have all been repeatedly heard in his raps and in this very song, he releases a tall list of people both from the past and current in Ghana music history… not forgeting the shout-outs he gave to fast rising acts Teephlow, Kofi Kinaata, Strongman, Pappy Kojo and the rest.

‘Take it Back’ is simply eurolgizing the past and embracing the new rap kings. Gone are the days when rappers suffered to get studio to record, and even after recording, promotion was headache… look at ’em now, music is the new normal in the entertainment industry as it dominates the other entertaining segments the country currently holds.




Whilst the song is still fresh and gaining airplay, Sarkodie add a creative video for your viewing pleasure. The video was shot and directed by Alex Adjei.
