Sarkodie, Dumelo, Mutombo, R2bees, others for 2015 BEFFTA Awards

john dumelo and sarkodieGhanaian acts have grabbed spots at the 2015 Black Entertainment Film Fashion Television and Arts Awards (BEFFTA).

BEFFTA’s awards is Europe’s biggest award ceremony celebrating black and ethnic personalities in entertainment, film, fashion, television and arts. Founded by entrepreneur, TV presenter and philanthropist Pauline Long in 2009 is back for the 7th year to celebrate greatness within the African and Caribbean community and fully funded by the media personality. Fuse ODG, Shatta Wale, R2bees, Sarkodie, VVIP, Samini, John Dumelo all with Mutombo grabbed nominations.

John Dumelo will battle it out with Ramsey Nouah, Alexx Ekubo, Ernest Napoleon, Joseph Benjamin for the Best Actor Category whilst Mutombo The Poet aims the Best Spoken Word Artist/Poet categories respectively.

Voting will begin on 15th October. Winners will be announced on Saturday October 31st, 2015.
