President Buhari visits Ghana

Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari, arrives in Accra on Monday, his first visit to the country since winning the March 28 presidential election for a day’s working visit to the country.

A statement from the Flagstaff House Communications Bureau Sunday said the Nigerian leader would be received at the Golden Jubilee Lounge of the Kotoka International Airport by President John Dramani Mahama.

The two presidents would then move into bilateral discussions to be followed by a joint statement at the Peduase Lodge in the afternoon.

Buhari is the first opposition figure to win a presidential election in Nigeria’s 55 years of independence.
