President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on Tuesday night took to Twitter to wish Ghanaian dancehall musician, Shatta Wale a happy birthday in pidgin English and Ghanaians can’t stop sharing his tweet!
The viral tweet which was an invited Shatta Wale to visit the presidency crowned the multiple award-winning artiste’s birthday and as usual, his fans couldn’t get enough of the tweet.
Earlier last week, October 13, Shatta Wale reminded President Akufo-Addo via a tweet about his birthday on Tuesday and it seems the president didn’t let the day pass by without recognizing him.
The president, Akufo-Addo Tweeted in reponse on his birthday saying: “Happy birthday @shattawalegh! You for come visit me for Flagstaff House o!”.
President Akufo-Addo revealed that he is a big fan of Shatta Wale back in 2016 and this tweet wishing him well isn’t the first of its kind. He sent a similar tweet in 2016 as well and to crown his fan part, his party, the NPP, used Shatta Wale’s hit songs “Kakai” at their manifesto launch that year.
However, Shatta Wale had earlier revealed that he will not endorse any political party and will be available to work with any party who needs his service although many have tagged him an NDC member,
