Our second lady, Mrs. Matilda Amissah Arthur has been in the news this week for controversial reasons. First it was chalk, now it turns out computers she donated to the Kukurantumi Presby School can’t be used because the school has no electricity. Blame Mahama!
Citi FM reporters visit to the Kukurantumi Presby School in the Eastern Region, reveals that the five computers which were donated by the Second Lady, Matilda Amissah-Arthur couldn’t be used since there’s no form of electricity to keep the items running.
Mrs. Amissah-Arthur has come under fire for publicly rebuking the headmistress of the school earlier this week for requesting for chalk and log books from government despite the gesture and she goes donating with thinking!
The second lady had gone to the school to donate five computers but after the presentation, Mrs. Oppong made an appeal saying,
“The elderly say if you want to communicate something to God, you say it to the wind, we are therefore requesting of you to tell government to try to come to our aid with these things which are in short supply in the school…”
