Fast rising artiste, Hecta has finally released the much anticipated single ‘Voodoo.‘

The African Hiphop record produced by Hasty Baba fuses in some Ewe bars, contemporary instruments and a touch of pop.

The first fireball from Hecta this year and it aims to project him for greater heights.

Hecta, earlier hinted the released of his upcoming album “ My Journey” which he invested a lot of energy, time and creativity in for fans to have a good run on their playlist.




The talented rapper started off by saying “The Blame Game On Voodoo is Over” and this will mean he is burning out all fears and breaking the shackles that have been holding him back as far as music is concerned.

“Voodoo” is the first single off ‘My Journey’ album and the word ‘Voodoo’, as powerful as it sounds, defines a lot. Whilst other may think the negative side of ‘Voodoo’ and its strangeness, the dope rapper reveals in his lyrics: “Easy, I no get your time I be busy, Ebi rap I dey chew eno be P.K” adding that “No agbala (Voodoo) for here, my flow be prepaid.” Doing justice addressing the meaning off Voodoo in few lines, Hecta blends the Ewe and English so well that little attention is paid to other music genres when listening to this record.




In short, any negative effect attached to his life has been cleared and he has built a much powerful positive image to embark fully in his musical journey.
