One thing was evident in all the performances delivered by the contestants- their confidence on stage has improved by a wide margin! kudos to the Faculty. The Judges could also not hide how impressed they were that the contestants were finally beginning to get a hang of what it means to be a superstar.
Apart from the mind-blowing performances of some of the most loved African contemporary hit songs by the fourteen contestants, Afro-pop sensation- Harrysong, in collaboration with Geoffrey and Monica (Seasons 7 and 4 respectively) also added colour to the evening with their performance.
However, the Judges also thought it best to place all the contestants on probation, leaving West Africa the power to vote enough to keep their favourite and the best singer in the competition.
The evening was brought to a close as Harrysong, flanked by Season 4 & 7 winners- Geoffrey and Monica lighted the stage as they performed his mega hit song- ‘Reggae blues’.
The two Ghanaian contestants who are holding it down for team Ghana also did very well to keep their heads up! Eli performed “Fall in love’ by D’Banj whilst Gabby rocked the studio audience and viewers with Sarkodie’s “Down On One” which features Fuse ODG.
