Moses Parker forgives Sulley Muntari
Bankroller and President of Medeama SC Moses Armah Parker has declared that he holds nothing bad against Sulley Muntari after their altercation in Brazil.
In the 2010 FIFA World Cup, it was reported that Sulley Muntari and Moses Parker had a heated exchange of words over a bonus row that resulted in the former slapping the former Black stars Management Committee member in the face just before the Black stars’ crunch decider against the Seleccao of Portugal. And just when Medeama SC were about to travel to DR Congo to play against TP Mazembe in the first match of this season’s CAF Confederations Cup group stage, it was reported that Sulley Muntari offered his apology to Moses Parker after two years of the incident and also offered to support the club with their African campaign.
“On Sulley Muntari’s apology, I’ll say I don’t begrudge him for what happened in Brazil because I have nothing bad against him in my heart because my religion as a Christian doesn’t teach me to do so and hence, I’ve forgiven him,” Moses Parker declared on Happy FM Anopa Bosuo sports.
“And if truly he or anybody else want to come on board to help Medeama SC with our Confederations Cup campaign, why not? We’re all Ghanaians and Medeama SC is representing Ghana, because when we played against TP Mazembe the flag they hoisted before the commencement of the game was a Ghana flag,” he indicated.
