Rapper M.anifest has, in the past few months, been finishing up his forthcoming album Nowhere Cool.
The “godMC’ rapper took to micro-blogging site Twitter today (25-08-16) to announce the completion of project.
Nowhere cool will be M.anifest’s fifth solo project following his previous albums Apae: the price of free EP (2013), Immigrant Chronicles: Coming to America (2011), The Birds and the Beats (Free Mixtape, 2009), and Manifestations (2007).
He’s also unveiled a tracklist of sorts, though most of the songs have been blurred out from the photo he tweeted.
The album from the picture posted contain 14 songs or more, and will be his most popular album, especially after the release of the controversial “god MC” single back in June 2016.
His career has been amazing and he keep souring from time to time. He can be remembered best for his win as the Best Rapper of the year (2013) – Ghana Music Award, Hip-Hop Song of the Year (2013) – Ghana Music Awards, Best Hip-Hop Video – 4syte Music Video Awards, Minnesota Emerging Composer Award (MECA) (2010) – American Composers Forum, Songwriter of the Year (2008) – City Pages, among others.
Also he was recently announced as music supervision for a film adaptation of international Nigerian writer Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s “On Monday of Last Week.”
He’s also scheduled to attend an international literary festival Storymoja 2016 at the W.E.B Dubois Centre in Accra.
Dates for the album release hasn’t been confirmed yet.
