The name ‘Christmas’ comes from the Mass of Christ (or Jesus). A Mass service (which is sometimes called Communion or Eucharist) is where Christians remember that Jesus died for us and then came back to life.
The day that marks the birth of Jesus Christ and is celebrated across varied cultures of the world differently based on religious practices and superstitions. Like every other festival, a major part of Christmas is getting together with family and friends, exchanging gifts and wishes with one another.
How are your neighbours celebrating this year’s Christmas? Well, we’ve had quite the Christian norm of foods trooping in our home office so we can say, we’re grateful for another year. Meanwhile, we spotted a lady’s haircut in town which was shaved with a “Shatta” inscription aimed at celebrating the festive season in Ghana with style.
From all of us at bjrlivefm.com, we wish you a season filled with joy and peace as we celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. We thank you for your custom. Keep listening to bjrlivefm.com, download the app or find us on TuneIn.
