It was rumored some years ago that the-soon-to-be husband of actress Nana Ama Mcbrown, Maxwell used to warm the bed of sultry singer, Mzbel.

But in a recent interview with Delay on the Delay show, the singer admitted to knowing the man in question but they never got intimate.

‘I know Maxwell, we were just friends but we never got intimate. In-fact I love him but on a different level. What happened was that, I could not give him what he wanted.”

When asked by the host if they ever kissed, she said; “yes we did kiss but kissing someone is no big deal. The truth is he actually contributed a lot in my life and my career.”

Narrating what ensued between them during their friendship days, she noted; “The reason why it did not develop into anything else is that, I made him a lot of promises that I could not keep, I knew I could not keep so there was no need being around. But, I am happy he finally has someone and is happy.”




If she has any ill feeling towards Nana Ama Mcbrown, who now holds the key to Maxwell’s heart, she answered; “I have no such feeling towards anyone. Rather I am extremely happy for the two.”

Known in private life as Belinda Nana Akua Amoah, Mzbel returned to the showbiz scene in February last year after a maternity break with the launch of her Red Carpet Show — her comeback show.
