Manchester City has prepared a deal worth £45 million for Wolfsburg paying £40 million and £5 million in add-ons but Wolfsburg’s manager Dieter Hecking believes that Manchester City is not big enough to lure Kevin De Bruyne away from the Bundesliga.
Hecking believes that only clubs like Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich are strong enough to lure the Belgian from Wolfsburg.
“I expect Kevin to stay. With all due respect for Manchester City, it would be different if Real Madrid, Barcelona or Bayern Munich made a move,” he told Kicker.
“I would understand a departure then.”
