Ghanaian rapper and multiple award-winning artiste Sarkodie earlier Sunday morning took to Twitter to express his disappointment about the sudden defeat of his favourite Ghanaian boxer Bukom Banku.According to Sarkodie, he believes Bukom Banku wasn’t fit for the bout.
The former WBO Africa Cruiserweight champion, Brimah Kamoko, known popularly as Bukom Banku suffered a humiliating defeat to former Ghana Amateur boxing team captain, Bastie Samir in the cruiserweight non-title bout held at the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra on Saturday night.
Sarkodie tweeted saying:
Woke up Sad ???? … biggest bukom banku fan and I’m heartbroken… he wasn’t looking fit for this bout ? https://t.co/uEEftFGM2y

Although Banku promised to knock Bastie out in the 6th round, he was rather stopped in round 7. He succumbed in the 7th Round after another punch landed him on the floor, leaving the referee with no option than to end the bout.
A sad situation that left many of his fans disappointed but on a rather interesting note, the women in Bukom were happy the boxer lost, claiming it will make him humble in the locality.
Bastie Samir has promised a rematch any day should Ghana’s former Mayweather Bukom Banku make up his mind to face him again.
