Mzbel born Nana Akua Amoah has been widely noticed in the Ghanaian entertainment industry for being one of the sultriness musicians the country can ever boast of. And it’s not as though she forces to be sexy, Mzbel has always been a sexy chic!
The songstress who recently released her latest number dubbed “Fakye” featuring Quabena Benji is one key stakeholder when it comes to Ghanaian celebrities who enjoy controversies in the media.
It’s not surprising she’s friends with the baddest comedienne, Afia Schwarzenegger!
It could have been a sexual music video but this time, she took her craziness to a live TV show – After Hours’ Tv show on TV3 hosted by Miki Osei Berko aka Master Richard where the two shared a kiss during the show.
While the two discussed a whole lot of fun stuff from music to relationships, sex, and work, they took quite a time to entertain themselves.
Asked if she will one day support the NPP, Mzbel said No. Adding that, “She was born with NDC and it’s in her blood.” She, however, expressed enthusiasm about her son’s inclusion in the Free SHS programme launched by the New Patriotic Party despite her involvement with the erstwhile John Dramani Mahama administration.
“I admire Akufo-Addo’s efforts. He said he will initiative Free SHS and he didn’t fail Ghanaians”
“My son didn’t pay anything when he enrolled for the free SHS program. My only surprise was when I learned it was limited to only the first year students and not all the students in Senior High Schools”
“You know the second year and third year students also need the support of government,” she added.
“I will support him (Akufo-Addo) any day should he do the good stuff but then again, I won’t switch to his party”
“I’m NDC and it’s not even possible to leave. I was born with it. It’s in my blood”
The 38-year-old who starred on ‘After Hours’ came looking gorgeous as usual. Mzbel said she defied the stages of aging as a result of “good self-check with routine workouts and careful dieting, coupled with fasting twice a week”.
She was quick to add that, the Mzebl who once revealed a lot of skin for the public has died out and the new her will call for dresses that expose less of her flesh because she’s matured now.
“I am not the Mzbel that I used to be anymore, I am old now and it must reflect in my dressing, in my utterances, appearance and in everything that I do.”
“Before I was very young and when you are young you want to experiment everything, you don’t listen even when others talk, but now I am a woman so I don’t need to be told what to do,” she said.
