Ghanaians don’t award good music but danceable music- Kyei Bafour.
One of Ghanas finest gospel music living legends Kyei Bafour has attributed his ministry not receiving any awards in the industry to bias to good music.
Speaking exclusively to Pastor Nyansabwokwa on Happy FM Wednesday (25-05-16) he said “In Ghana, they award danceable music not good music”
He believes the Ghanaian music industry awards scheme hasn’t been fair to good musician hence the reason for their fall out in the game.
Many musician die broke because they produce good song but not danceable music for the populace.
When asked if he has ever won an award before, he stated that “the industry awards organizers allow only songs patrons can dance with to win so for him, he’s yet to experience a miracle’
On Nsem Pii last Wednesday, an Africa Day meant to celebrate the progress and errors of Africa, known as Africa Union day, host of the show Nyansaboakwa had the privilege to air Kyei Bafour’s album titled ‘ehu’ (fear) for the first time.
