As hinted in an interview on Playbak Magazine, Ghanaian songtress Efya’s debut album ‘Janesis’ will finally be out on April 22, 2016.

The 21-track album includes features by Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, Bisa Kdei, Ice Prince, Mugeez, and E.L.

Although it was originally scheduled for release in 2013, according to the singer, she had to hold it for a better day. Songs like Forgetting Me, Jorley, Gingam Too Much and One of Your own which also includes its video have already been released and enjoying massive airplay.

The yet-to-be-released album has already undergone name change to the current.




Signed to One Nation Entertainment, Efya has won for four consecutive years between 2009-2013, the ‘Best Female Vocalist of the Year’ at the Ghana Music Awards after she was introduced to the Ghanaian music scene when she made it as one of 12 finalists of the music reality show “Stars of the Future” in 2008 where she placed second in the competition to winner Irene Logan.




Aside her yet-to-be-released album ‘Janesis,’ Efya has to her credit a host of single that can rock you from daybreak to dawn and a mixtape titled ‘This Is Not The Album’ which includes songs like: Body,Sexy Sassy Wahala, Best In Me, amongst others.
