The service, which took place at the Martins De Porres School at Dansoman in Accra, saw the entire entertainment industry including the minister for tourism and creative arts and also the member of Parliament for Ablekuma West, Ursula Owusu, join hands in mourning with the bereaved family.
In an emotional tribute at the one week celebration of the late dancehall artist Ebony, Bullet of the Ruff n Smooth fame and Manager of the deceased said his record label – Ruff Town Records – will release Ebony’s next album in the coming days.

He also announced his readiness to keep the memory of the musician alive by releasing the many songs she did before her death.
St Martin de Porres School at Dansoman was not able to contain the teeming crowd that massed up to mark the one-week passing of Ebony.

Known in real life as Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng, she died a few days before she was scheduled to start a European tour.

She died with two others – Franky Kuri and Lance Corporal Vondee Atsu – who were with her in the vehicle.

Her death has led to a huge outpouring of grief and sympathies from music lovers, fans, colleagues, friends and politicians here in Ghana.

Having discovered Ebony in 2015, Bullet said he will keep the flame of the late artiste lit for the world to know what she stood for.

“Whatever Ebony Reigns wanted to do for her family, we will get it done,” Bullet said.
