Chris Koney details how Shatta was selected for Oxford Africa ConferenceThe Public Relations Officer for dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has come out to give the full details as to how Shatta Wale was selected as a speaker at the 2016 Oxford Africa Conference

Read Chris Koney’s facts below.

The Facts:

1. After working with AfroModTrends to exhibit at last year’s conference, I proposed to the organizers to consider Shatta Wale for this year’s conference and I followed up with his profile. After the assessment process, they expressed their desire to work with Shatta, we then discussed and agreed on the topic. Shatta’s selection to be part of the Oxford Africa Conference was based on merit!

2. The organisers ARE PAYING for flights, accommodation etc to ensure we are at the conference and NOT SHATTA MOVEMENT.

3. As a responsible management team, we ought to identify opportunities to promote our musician and this is one of the several projects we are embarking on.
