Following the weekend brawl between Stonebwoy and Zylofon Media Staff, CEO of Zylofon Media, Nana Appiah Mensah has rendered an apology to dancehall artiste, Livingstone Etse Setekla popularly known as Stonebwoy and his management over the attack.
It could be recalled that Zylofon Media’s staff failed to recognize Stonebwoy as their top act hence attacking him for several reasons including an attempt to seize a car given to him by the company.
An action that was justified by Communication Executive at Zylofon Media, Sammy Baah-Flex and some of his pundits on Zylofon FM.
The weekend’s scuffle at Champs Bar inside Paloma Hotel in Accra led to the injury of Stonebwoy’s younger brother and his bodyguard who tried to wrestle the tugs sent by Bulldog and the acclaimed transport manager from Zylofon Media.
The officers, according to reports had gone to the premises of the Champs Bar in Accra where Stonebwoy was having a show to take back a car alleged to have been given to him by the company.
The Zylofon team led by Artiste and Repertoire Manager for Zylofon Music, Lawrence Nana Asiamah aka Bulldog approached Stonebwoy’s team and asked that the cars which were branded with Zylofon insignia were taken away.
The clash between the two teams, reports suggest led to Stonebwoy firing of gunshots to maintain peace while guarding his team to safety.
After a public backlash and many condemning Zylofon Media of being unprofessional in handling the current situation, others have also labeled the employees of the firm as incompetent and incriminating Stonebwoy due to the signing of Shatta Wale but in a very respectful manner, Nana Appiah Mensah in post via his infamous Instagram page has rendered a well-thought apology to the dancehall star although he failed to mention the unnecessary actions of Bulldog in his apology.
In a tweet he wrote, “I apologize to team @stonebwoyb and all well wishers for the unfortunate ill incident that occurred. The transport manager exercised a discretion characterized by reflex and over exuberance. An act I vehemently condemn and discourage from our society.”
