It seems most of the top notch artistes climbing the ladder these are all up for the numbers and may care less about whether their songs gets the necessary airplay (s) or not.
We can talk about one of Ghana’s fast rising act, Fancy Gadem who filled his just ended concert with more than the expected number of patrons.
Back in the news; less than a week after filling up Orlando Stadium, South Africa’s dope rapper is back in the headlines pleading with his fans to help him with another cause: this time, he wants his followers to help him get his music some more airplay on radio.
Refiloe Maele Phoolo professionally known as Cassper Nyovest, the multiple award winning artiste who is not very easy to please was caught up in a twitter chat with a fan. Check out his responses below as he reckons his songs are not being played as much as it should be.
Cassper then responded with a plea to all of his fans:
A fan who thought Nyovest was all the way up adviced the artiste to stop begging for airplays because he’s doing well filling event centres without airplays.
I’m not complaining, my fans are. They think I dont push my music like i don’t care about it whereas I’m doing all I can but get no airplay.
