The Genesis is the first of a 4 part movie which focuses on the narcotics industry in Ghana. It highlights one of the jarring problems Ghana and the rest of the world is grappling with. The trans-territorial nature of this vicious industry requires that the entertainment industry takes the lead in showcasing it in a non-glamorous manner. Entertainment and pop-culture have always been influential if not the pacesetter for the youth in terms of their lifestyle and choices; this makes the case for investing in shaping their values through this medium.

The plot revolves around a law enforcement agent trained regularly by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) of the United States. On returning from one of such trainings, he is met with a case of a lady arrested for drug trafficking.

With his past experience with drugs and how it led his brother to an untimely death, he is motivated to hunt and bring to justice all persons involved in the importation/exportation and distribution of illegal drugs and to prevent the recurrence of what happened to his brother from happening to more people especially the youth.
